How to Pair Gimme Key

Overview

This SOP will give Peet’s business stakeholders a detailed view of what actions the RSR/IDs should pair the Gimme Key to the Zebra ET-45 Tablet within OTS settings.

NOTE: Do not pair your gimme key via Bluetooth settings. Only pair the gimme key within OTS settings, as outlined in the steps below.

Pairing Gimme Key inside OTS settings with Zebra ET45 Tablet:

1. Open OTS, from the Main Menu. Tap the three dots at the top Right.
   
   
2. Select Settings.
   
   
3. Tap on the bar labeled Global.
   
   
4. Within the popup, scroll and tap DEX.
   
   
5. Within the DEX settings, you will select Device Type.
   
   
6. Change it from Bluetooth to Gimme Key.
   
   
   
7. After updating Device Type to Gimme Key, it now asks for Gimme Key S/N (You will find the serial on the side of your Gimme Key. Please type it in the same way it says on the Gimme Key. 
   Example Serial number 2140-0485.
   
   
8. Within the new window prompt, tap the blank field and enter your Gimme Key Serial number labeled as 1, and once entered, tap the OK button labeled as 2.
       
   
   

Your Gimme Key is now paired.
