This article is to show you how Peet's will utilize Power Apps in the field, to report their donated items to the Peet's Donation Team.
Step 1. From the Tablet's Home Screen Tap on Power Apps.
Step 2. Tap Sign In.
Step 3. Enter Peet's Email address and tap Next.
Step 3. Please enter your Okta Information:
A. Peet's Email Address
B. Okta Password
C. Tap the Sign In button
Step 4. You will then be prompted to enter your Okta Verification code.
This example is using the Okta Verify method.
Step 5. If this is the first time logging into Power Apps, tap the All Apps button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6. Scroll and find DSD_DonationApp.
Step 7. Tap Begin Donation to begin creating your donation to be submitted to the Inventory Team.
Step 8. On the User Information screen, the following fields Route's Name, User ID, Route #, and Region #. will be prepopulated.
Please verify it is correct and tap Next.
Step 9. Within the Organization Information screen fill out the following information:
A. Organization Name
B. Organization Tax ID in the following format: XX-XXXXXXX, (Example 12-3456789)
C. Select the Donation Date
D. Select all checkboxes that apply to this Organization
E. Once all the information is filled out, the Next button will be available to move forward
F. . If you want to Reset and Start Over from the beginning of the app, tap the Start Over button.
Step 10. How to add items to the Item Donation Form.
A. Tap the + button to add additional items to the Item Donation Form.
B. Tap in the Enter Item Description box to type to search for an Item Description or Scroll through the list of items.
C. Item Number will auto-populate once the Item has been selected.
D. Enter the quantity in Eaches that will be donated.
E. Enter the quantity in Cases that will be donated.
F. Tap the - button to remove an item from the Donation Form.
G. One all items have been entered, please have the Organization's Representative Sign in the Signature Box.
H. Type the Organization's Representative's name.
I. Reset all items on the Donation Form.
J. Submits the Donation Form and sends an email notification to the Donation's Team, Route, and Regional Manager.
K. To Reset completely and Start Over from the beginning of the app, tap the Start Over button.
Step 11. Once all Items and Quantities have been entered tap Submit.
Step 12. A Donation detail submitted screen will appear.
Tap Exit App button to close the app.
Both, Inventory Team and Route will receive an email notification that the Route has submitted an order.
